About Me
Brief testimony My testimony is one that some call boring; however, I see it as a blessing. I grew up in a Christian family, in a Christian community, and in a Christian school in Freeman, South Dakota. I have two loving parents and an amazing older sister. I came to Christ when I was only 4 years old but did not really begin to make it my own until junior high. I have struggled in and out for years with making devotions and time with God a “priority” in my life. Somehow, He always ends up on the back burner. This is a constant struggle, but I know that hardship, in the end, can strengthen relationships more than anything. I am now a college freshman at North Central University, which is a Christian college in downtown Minneapolis that is affiliated with the Assemblies of God denomination. I hope to continue to grow in my relationship with the Lord as I study business, music, sports, and faith in general and am excited to see where God takes me.
About me I am very involved in wherever I go. In high school, I was in band, choir, theatre, volleyball, basketball, track, all while keeping up my academics in school. Now at NCU, I continue my involvement in choir and volleyball and love doing both these activities. I also love to read books, watch movies and tv shows, spend time with my sister (who is a senior at NCU) and with friends, and spending time in God’s Word.
About my future My major as of now is Business Administration. I feel that I would do well in the business field; however, I am not aiming for some specific job. Business is also a good choice because I do not know exactly what I would like to do in my future and there are many different routes I can go later in life with a business degree.
What I anticipate from this class I actually am not tied to Business Administration and if I would change majors to anything, it maybe would be Marketing. I have never taken a marketing class before though, so through this class, I not only hope to learn much more about the subject, but also to help me decide if this is more like something I would like to do in my future. I am very excited to see how I do in this area and to learn more about the marketing world.
